David Harp, former photographer for the Baltimore Sun, is a renowned photographer of the Chesapeake Bay.  I highly recommend The Great Marsh: An Intimate Journey into a Chesapeake Wetland, a book resulting from one of his many collaborations with Chesapeake Bay writer, Tom Horton, who is also a professor at my school.
